Attach the two ball bearings "K1"on the left and the right of the
bevel gear differential "A4".
Insert the bevel gear differential "A4" and the front drive axle "A5"
into the bottom part of the casing "A3". Apply suitable grease (model
gear box grease) onto the tooth flank of both gear wheels.
Make sure that both ball bearings are properly fitted (see illustration
on the right).
Attach upper casing part "A2" so that the ball bearings are installed
in the guides of the casing parts.
As the last step, attach upper casing part "A1". Now screw casing
parts "A1", "A2", and "A3" together.
Four long tapping screws "S2" (length of thread 15 mm) are screwed
in on the edge, a short tapping screw "S1" (length of thread 10
mm, see illustration on the right) is screwed into the centre of upper
casing part "A1".
The front differential is now complete.
Do not use force when tightening the screws! Otherwise, not only the plastic parts might be damaged but
the function of the differential will be impaired as well (e.g. when screw "S1" is screwed in too tightly).
