5 Initial Operation

5 Initial Operation
Before initial operation, the proper seat of all
jumpers must be ensured. For initial operati-
on, please proceed as follows
1 Check whether a battery is correctly
seated in the battery holder. If not, insert a
battery according to the instructions in
section 4.1.
2 Insert SE302 into system box or BT300.
3 If applicable, insert the SMxxx interface
module in the SE302.
4 Those slots not occupied with interface
modules (X8, X9), must be closed off
using dummy panels (see section 5.4).
5 Turn on voltage supply for the system box
or card rack.
6 Connect operating computer.
7 Configure the interfaces and program the
tightening system.
5.1 Control elements
On the front plate of the tightening system
control SE302 two LEDs are installed to indi-
cate the operating condition:

green
ready for operation
red flashing
system error
green flashing
