Connecting the voltage supply

The voltage supply for the nBox system is connected via the general power supply (230 V) or in emergency
operation, via the batteries in the nBox.

Danger of electrocution!
The system works on the secondary side with voltages up to max. 50 V DC. Nevertheless,
significantly higher voltages may occur in the event of an error. Coming into contact with voltage-
carrying parts of the system may lead to death or severe injury.

Relevant health and safety regulations must be observed.
Connecting the voltage supply for the nBox system
Requirements:
– The mains fuse provided on site is open.
– The AC module is disconnected from the nBox.

The voltage supply is connected via a 2-pin plug on the
bottom of the AC module.
1. Guide the cable through the membrane gland with strain relief.

It is a good idea to strip the cables before inserting
them (approx. 1 cm under the cable gland).
The exposed cores should be a little longer than
needed in order to reach the terminals, and then only
shortened to the actual length needed once they have
been inserted.
2. Connect the PE conductor to the earthing bar.
3. Connect the N and L conductors with the 2-pin plug (terminal
assignment in image on left).
4. Connect the plug (voltage supply) and cables to the battery
recharging device on the bottom of the AC module.
5. Connect the network cable to the back of the AC module.
