Connecting the output circuits

Up to 8 output circuits can be connected to the nBox system.
Attention
When mounting and installing the device the voltage supply must be disconnected and the battery
fuse removed, including the supply to the phases to be monitored.
Attention
Luminaire channel ports are not reverse polarity protected!
If the output circuit poles are incorrectly connected, none of the luminaires connected on the output
circuit will work.

Observe the correct poles when connecting luminaires.

The nBox has space for up to 4 nBox OCM ELP modules. For each module, 2 output circuits can
be connected to the nBox. One module is already inserted at the factory.

A conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² must be used for the output circuits (no smaller and no
larger).

1. Guide the cable from above through the membrane gland with
strain relief or through the opening in the back of the housing.
2. Strip the cable according to the required length.

It is a good idea to strip the cables before inserting
them (approx. 1 cm under the cable gland).
The exposed cores should be a little longer than
needed in order to reach the terminals, and then only
shortened to the actual length needed once they have
been inserted.
3. Connect the conductor with the earthing bar and the CHX+
and CHX- terminals (no. 1, image on left). X here stands for the
corresponding output circuit.
