Mounting the device

1. Mark the position of the drill holes.
2. Drill the holes.
3. Insert anchors and drive screws in approx. 2/3 of the way.
4. Hang the prepared housing.
5. Check that the positioning is correct using a spirit level.
6. Tighten the screws.
The nBox can then be wired. The following procedure is recommended:
1. Run all required cables into the housing. Ensure that the cable routes in the housing are as short as possible.

Cables fed in through the cut-out in the back of the housing are routed without strain relief. For this
reason, the cables must be laid in such a way that no strain can be exerted on them outside of the
housing.
The membrane cable glands with strain relief can only be used once. It is not possible to pull out a
cable inserted through a gland without damaging the cable gland.
2. Connect the output circuits.

3. If applicable: wire the signalling contacts, central phase monitor and emergency stop switch.
4. If applicable: wire the BRI, BPD and BSIM on the system bus.
5. Connect the voltage supply (power disconnected) and mount the AC module again.

6. Connect the batteries, but do NOT reinsert the fuses yet.

If the nBox is installed near a sprinkler system, the top edge of the
housing of the nBox must be sealed where it joins the wall (image
on left) in order to prevent water from getting into the housing in
the event of a fire.
