the information and all the parts easily
accessible.
8. A damaged cord or plug must be replaced
by an authorised service centre or
qualified person to ensure safe use.

GENERAL INSPECTION

1. Check at regular intervals that all
retaining screws are tight. They can
vibrate and loosen over time. Carefully
check the outer flange. Vibrations can
loosen screws.
2. Check at regular intervals that the
power cord and any extension cords are
undamaged. A damaged cord or plug
must be replaced by an authorised service
centre or qualified person to ensure safe
use. Replace damaged extension cords
immediately.
3. Have the carbon brushes checked and
if necessary replaced by an authorised
service centre or other qualified personnel
if there is a lot of sparking. The carbon
brushes must always be replaced in pairs.
LUBRICATION
The grease in the gearbox must be changed by
an authorised service centre after a long period
of use.
SERVICE
• Service must only be carried out by
qualified personnel. There is a risk of
personal injury if unqualified persons
carry out service or maintenance.
• Only use approved spare parts and
accessories for servicing. Follow the
maintenance instructions. The use of
non-approved parts, or failure to follow
the maintenance instructions can result in
a risk of electric shock and/or personal
injury.
