4. Turn the table (12) so that the pointer
points to 0°.
5. Tighten the saw table locks (15).
6. Release the bevel angle lock lever (7)
and move the saw arm (1) to bevel angle
0° (blade at right angles to the table).
Tighten the bevel angle lock (7).
7. Place a set square against the table (12)
and against the plane of the blade.
8. Turn the blade by hand and check that the
blade remains at right angles to the table.
9. The edge of the set square should be
parallel to the plane of the blade.
10. Otherwise, adjust as follows.
11. Undo the lock nut that locks the adjusting
screw (10) for bevel angle 0° with an 8
mm hex key. Release also the bevel angle
lock (7).
12. Adjust the adjusting screw (10) for bevel
angle 0° with a 4 mm hex key until the
blade is parallel to the edge of the set
square.
13. Undo the crosshead screw holding the
degree pointer in place, and adjust the
pointer so that it points to zero. Tighten
the screw.
14. Tighten the bevel angle lock (7) and the
lock nut for the bevel angle adjusting
screw (10).
Adjustment of bevel angle 45°
1. Release the bevel angle lock (7) and tilt
the saw head all the way to the left.
2. Check with a combination square that the
blade is at an angle of 45° to the table.
3. If the angle of the blade to the table is
not 45°, tilt the saw arm to the right,
undo the lock nut on the adjusting screw
(9) for a bevel angle of 45°, and screw
the adjusting screw in or out as necessary
with a 4 mm hex key to increase or reduce
the bevel angle.
4. Move back the saw arm to the left for
a bevel angle of 45° and check the
adjustment.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 if further adjustment
is necessary.
6. Tighten the bevel angle lock (7) and lock
nut on the adjusting screw (9) for bevel
angle 45° when the adjustment is ready.
Adjusting the fence at right angles
to the table
1. Switch off the product and pull out the
plug.
2. Lower the saw arm (1) to its lowest
position and press in the locking pin
(2) to lock the saw arm in the transport
position.
3. Loosen the saw table locks (15).
4. Turn the table (12) so that the pointer
points to 0°.
5. Tighten the saw table locks (15).
6. Undo the two screws holding the fence
(11) at the base with a 5 mm hex key.
7. Place a set square between the fence (11)
and the blade.
8. Adjust the fence (11) to the correct angle
to the blade.
9. Tighten the screws holding the fence (11).
10. Undo the crosshead screw holding the
degree pointer for the mitre scale (13) in
place, and adjust the pointer so that it
points to zero.
11. Tighten the screw holding the mitre angle
pointer.

Replacing the saw blade

NOTE:
Heavy-duty safety gloves should be used for
this.
