Switch off the product and pull out the
plug.

Turn the blade until the arrow on the
blade is opposite the arrow on the top
blade guard. Check that the teeth on the
blade point down.

Release the saw arm (1) by pressing down
to the control handle (3), pulling out the
locking pin (2) and allowing the saw arm
(1) to slowly move up.

Undo the screw holding the blade guard's
retraction arm (6) in the movable blade
guard (5).

Press in the spindle lock button (18) and
turn the blade until it locks.

Undo the blade screw (left-hand thread,
clockwise) with a 6 mm hex key.
7.
Turn up the lower, movable blade guard
(5) over the fixed top guard (4) and hold it
there. Remove the blade screw, the outer
blade flange and the blade. Remove chips
and dust from the spindle and flanges.
8.
Rub a drop of oil with a rag on the contact
surface of the inner and outer blade
flanges to the blade.
9.
Turn up the lower, movable blade guard
(5) over the fixed top guard (4) and hold
it there. Fit the new blade on the spindle
and check that the inner blade flange is
correctly aligned on the back of the blade.
10. Refit he outer blade flange.
11. Press the spindle lock button (18) and
screw in the blade screw.
12. Tighten the blade screw (left-hand thread,
anticlockwise) with a 6 mm hex key.
13. Refit the blade guard's retraction arm (6)
and tighten the screw that fastens the
retraction arm (6) in the movable blade
guard (5).
14. Check that the blade guard moves freely
and cover the blade when the saw arm is
lowered.

15. Check that the power switch is in the
OFF position, plug in the plug, start the
product and check that it is working
correctly.
16. The movable blade guard cannot be
adjusted. Before use, check that the blade
guards are firmly in place and working
properly.
WARNING!
Never use a blade larger than that specified
in the technical data – there is a risk it will
come into contact with the blade guards.
Never use a blade that is so thick that the
outer blade washer does not come in contact
with the flat surfaces on the spindle – risk
of the blade screw not locking the blade
correctly on the spindle.
Do not use the product to saw metal, stone,
brick etc.
Check that all the necessary spacers, spindle
rings, etc., are suitable for the installed blade
and spindle.
Cutting and mitre sawing
Always secure if possible the workpiece with
clamps, clips or a vice.
Keep hands away from the saw blade and
other moving parts when sawing or when the
blade is rotating.
Never work with crossed hands – never handle
the workpiece or pieces cut from the workpiece
to the right of the blade with the left hand,
or the other way round. Working with crossed
hands can result in a risk of serious personal
injury.
Cutting involves making the cut across the
workpiece. Set the table to an angle of 0° to
cut at right angles. Mitre sawing can be done
when the table is set angles other than 0°.
