has jammed – risk of loosing control of
the product and/or risk of personal injury.
When you have completed the cut,
release the power switch, hold down the
saw head and wait until the blade has
stopped before removing the workpiece
and the sawn-off part. Never put your
hands near the blade until it has stopped
– risk of serious personal injury.
Keep a firm grip on the handle if the cut
does not go through all of the workpiece,
or if the power switch is released before
the saw head has reached its lowest
position. The brake function on the
product can cause the saw head to be
pulled down – risk of personal injury.
WARNING!
The product generates an electromagnetic
field when in use. This field can in some
circumstances affect active or passive medical
implants. If you have a medical implant
you should consult your doctor and/or the
manufacturer of the medical implant before
using the product to reduce the risk of serious
or fatal personal injury.
MINIMISATION OF NOISE AND
VIBRATION
Plan the work so that exposure to heavy
vibrations is spread over a longer period.
To reduce noise and vibrations when in
use, limit the time the tool is in use, and
use low-power/vibration mode and
suitable safety equipment.
Take the following precautions to
minimise the risks of exposure to
vibrations and/or noise:
Only use the tool in accordance with
these instructions.
Check that the tool is in good
condition.
Use accessories in good condition,
and which are suitable for the
purpose.
Keep a firm grip on the handles/
grips.
Maintain and lubricate the tool in
accordance with these instructions.
WARNING!
Read these instructions carefully before
use. Wear safety glasses or a visor. Keep
your hands away from the sawing area. Do
not use the product unless all the safety
devices are in place and working. Never
saw freehand. Never stretch around the
blade. Switch off the product and wait until
all moving parts have completely stopped
before moving the workpiece or making
adjustments. If guards are moved when
replacing the blade they must be reset to
their original position and locked in place
before using the product again. Pull out
the plug before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or putting the power
tool away. Do not expose the product to rain
or moisture. Move the carriage to the back
position after sawing to reduce the risk of
personal injury.
Do not use the product for any other purpose
than the one it is intended to be used for. The
product must only be used for its intended
purpose and in accordance with these
instructions. All other use is considered to be
unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot accept
liability for any damages resulting from
improper usage.
Never modify the product in any way. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for any
personal injury and/or material damage
resulting from such modifications.
