Lubricating Jaw Guides

1. Remove the jaws, see .
2. Clean the jaw guides.
3. Use a brush to lubricate the guides on the body (1) and the jaws with
grease F 80.
4. Move through the complete stroke several times.
Ø The grease is distributed.
Ø After 400 clamping cycles, move through the complete jaw stroke
again at least twice.
ü The jaw guides are lubricated.

For exact control, a defined torque can be introduced by means of a
torque wrench. A suitable adapter is available.
