Danger of slipping due to spilled operating materials.
Serious injuries due to falling.
Ø Wipe up spilled operating materials immediately.
Skin irritations due to contact with lubricants.
Lubricants may cause irritations in the event of contact with the
skin.
Ø When handling the Lathe chuck, wear safety goggles, long
work clothes and gloves.
Ø Avoid skin contact with lubricants.
Danger of crushing when clamping the Lathe chuck.
Trapping of fingers.
Ø Do not hold fingers between the workpiece and the top jaws or
between the top jaws when clamping the Lathe chuck.
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces.
Burns on hands.
Ø Do not touch the Lathe chuck when in operation.
Ø Allow the Lathe chuck to cool down before carrying out ne-
cessary work.
Ø Wear personal protective equipment.
