Tips for saving energy
▯
Install the appliance in a dry, well ventilated room!
The appliance should not be installed in direct
sunlight or near a heat source (e.g. radiator,
cooker).
If required, use an insulating plate.
▯
Do not block the ventilation openings in
the appliance.
▯
The ice packs slow down the thawing process of
the frozen food in the event of a power failure or
malfunction. Place the ice packs directly on
the food in the top compartment.
▯
Open the appliance as briefly as possible!
The briefer the appliance door is opened,
the lower the ice formation on the freezer shelves.
▯
When thawing frozen products, place them
in the refrigerator. Use the coldness of the frozen
food to cool food.
▯
Regularly defrost the freezer compartment to
remove the layer of frost!
A layer of hoarfrost will impair refrigeration of
the frozen food and increase power consumption.
▯
Occasionally clean the rear of the appliance
with a vacuum cleaner or paint brush to prevent
an increased power consumption.
