10. Maintenance

10.1 Basic safety information

Caution: Always disconnect the mains plug from the electric circuit before maintenance!
- Maintenance that requires opening the device's housing may only be carried out by an authorised Storch
specialist or an authorised Storch service partner. Contact the free STORCH Technical hotline 0800 /

- Never touch plugs with moist hands.
- The installation and use of spare parts and accessories not sourced from the device manufacturer is pro-
hibited!
- The maintenance intervals must be complied with.
- Changing operating parameters and components is prohibited.
- Annual inspection of equipment safety in accordance with DGUV V3 must be performed by a qualified
person (electrician).

10.2 Refrigerant circuit

The entire refrigerant circuit is a closed system. All work on the system may only be carried out by an authorised Storch
specialist or an authorised Storch service partner. Contact the free STORCH Technical hotline 0800 / 7867247
The building dryer contains refrigerant R290.
Dangers, and safety instructions:
Highly flammable gas (H220)
Contains gas under pressure - can explode if heated (H280).
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other types of ignition source. Do not smoke
(P210).
Fire caused by escaping gas: do not extinguish until leakage can be safely eliminated (P377).
Translation of the original instruction
Normal operation, but the device defrosts every 20 minutes (display 14) -
duration approx. 8 minutes: Wait until display (14) is unlit - only then switch
off the device and disconnect it from the mains, wait 3 minutes and switch it
back on. If the error code reoccurs contact the free STORCH Technical hotline
0800 / 7867247.
Device is operational and dehumidifies permanently, without reacting to the
humidity setting. Sensors may need to be replaced. Contact the free STORCH
Technical hotline 0800 / 7867247
Switch off the building dryer, disconnect from the mains, wait approx. 3 minu-
tes and switch back on. If the error code reoccurs contact the free STORCH
Technical hotline 0800 / 7867247.
