5 Description of the DIGITRADIO 650

5.1 Scope of supply

Before starting up, please check that everything has been delivered:
1x DIGITRADIO 650
1x remote control + batteries
1x Instruction manual
1x gloves + cleaning cloth

5.2 Special features of the DIGITRADIO 650

The DIGITRADIO 650 is comprised of a DAB+/FM/Internet radio receiver having the
following functions:
- You can store up to 20 DAB+/FM/Internet radio stations.
- The radio can receive the following frequencies: FM 87.5-108 MHz
(analogue) and DAB + 174.9-239.2 MHz (digital antenna).
- Internet radio via WiFi connection.
- Spotify Connect and Amazon Music streaming services
- MP3-CD Player
- Wireless charging of external devices.
- Music streaming via Bluetooth connection.
- Alarm and sleep timer function.
- Controlled with the TechniSat CONNECT App.

6 Preparing the DIGITRADIO 650 for operation

6.1 Setting up the device

> Place the device on a firm, secure and horizontal surface. Make sure the area
is well ventilated.
Notes:
- Do not place the device on soft surfaces such as carpets and blankets, or
near to curtains and wall hangings. These could obstruct the ventilation
openings. The necessary flow of air could be interrupted as a result. This
could potentially lead to fire in the device.
- Please note that the device feet could leave coloured marks on some types
of furniture surfaces in certain situations. Place a protective layer between
your furniture and the device.
- Keep the DIGITRADIO 650 away from devices that generate intense magnetic
fields. Otherwise, reception interference may occur.
- Do not place any heavy objects on the device.
- Hold the DIGITRADIO 650 only at the sides when you lift it up. Be careful not
to touch or damage the bottom of the subwoofer.
