5 Description of the DIGITRADIO 4 C
5.1 Scope of supply
Before starting up, please check that everything has been delivered:
1 x DIGITRADIO 4 C
1 x Telescopic antenna with mounting tool
1 x Remote control
1 x Batteries for the remote control
1 x Mains adapter
1 x Instruction manual
5.2 Special features of the DIGITRADIO 4 C
The DIGITRADIO 4 C is comprised of a DAB+/FM receiver with the following functions:

You can store up to 20 DAB+ and 20 FM stations.

The radio can receive the following frequencies: FM 87.5-108 MHz (analogue)
and DAB+ 174.9-239.2 MHz (digital antenna), 252-261 MHz (digital cable)..

The device has a time and date display.

3 one-touch buttons.

Music playback via Bluetooth connection.

5.3 Preparing the DIGITRADIO 4 C for operation
5.3.1 Connecting and aligning the telescopic antenna
The number and quality of the stations to be received depend on the reception
conditions at the installation location. Excellent reception can be achieved using the
telescopic antenna.

Screw the telescopic antenna onto the antenna connector (11) and hand-
tighten it using the assembly tool.

Align the telescopic antenna and extend it.
The exact alignment of the telescopic antenna is often important, in particular
at the fringes of the DAB+ reception area. You can quickly find the location of
the nearest transmission tower online by visiting "www.dabplus.de".
Start the first scan at a window pointing in the direction of the transmission
mast. If the weather conditions are poor, DAB+ reception may be limited.
Do not touch the telescopic antenna during station playback. This could
reduce the reception and lead to sound drop-outs.
5.3.2 Connecting the mains adapter

Use the supplied power cable to connect to the port marked DC-IN (13) on
the back of the DIGITRADIO 4 C. Then connect the power cable to the mains.
