Operation

Starting the device
Plug the power cable and start the machine with the switch on the back of the device. The device perfor-
ms a self-test and starts in the last mode used.
Counting banknotes
Separate severely crumpled or dirty banknotes. Remove any staples or paper clips from the banknotes.
Adjust the feeding guides to the banknotes that will be counted. Place the banknotes in the centre of the
feeder. The machine will start automatically. To set the counting result back to zero, press START / RESET.
Note: Should you receive an error message, please see the advisable measures in the Error
Messages section.

Selecting the counting mode and currency
With the CURR key you can select between Euro, British Pound and piece counting. Once you have chosen
a currency, there are different counting modes available:
r-Euro Modes:
To choose between the different modes for Euro (E) currency press MODE.
MIX: Counting of mixed and unsorted banknotes.
SP: Counting of sorted stacks of banknotes.
The device uses the first banknote fed as reference for the counting procedure. If a banknote different
than that used as reference is found in the stack, the machine stops automatically. To continue the coun-
ting process, remove the differing banknote from the stacker and press the START/RESET key.
SG r xxx: Counting of sorted stacks of banknotes.
Select a sort of banknotes with the SET key between 5 E, 10 E, 20 E, 50 E, 100 E, 200 E or 500 E. The
machine will stop when a banknote different than the selected sort is found. To continue the counting
process, remove the differing banknote from the stacker and press the START/RESET key.
