both must be carefully read and understood before use. Attention! This leaflet
shows the specific instruction only.
FIX GYM SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS.
This note contains the necessary information for a correct use of the following
product/s: stabilizing supports Fixgym8 and Fixgym10.

1) FIELD OF APPLICATION.

These products are stabilizing supports for indoor-climbing quickdraws. They are
not personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) and are not designed to hold the user's
weight. Attention! Before using the device on which the Fixgym8 and Fixgym10
supports will be installed, make sure to have read and understood the general
and specific instructions that must be provided with each device. Attention! An
error can lead to extremely serious consequences, any installation method and use
different from what indicated is to be considered forbidden.
2) NOMENCLATURE (Fig. 2). A-B) Quick link insertion points. C) Quick link lock-
ing points. D) Quick link release point.
2.1 - Main materials. Refer to the legend in the general instructions (paragraph
2.4): 7.
3) MARKING. Numbers/letters without caption: refer to the legend in the general
instructions (paragraph 5).
3.1 - General (Fig. 2). Indications: 1; 4; 7; 17.
3.2 - Traceability (Fig. 2). Indications: 30) Timestamp indicating month and year
of manufacture.
4) COMPATIBILITY. The stabilizing clips Fixgym8 and Fixgym10 are compatible
with indoor-climbing quickdraws provided with oval quick links respectively of Ø
8 and Ø 10 mm.
5) ISTRUCTIONS FOR USE. The stabilizing clips Fixgym8 and Fixgym10, applied
to the quick link of an indoor-climbing quickdraw, avoid the rotation of the quick
link and the sling, keeping them always correctly aligned (Fig.4). They have the
following advantages: 1) they prevent the rotation of the quick link around the
anchor or the sling, thus avoiding the possible load of its minor axis or any
other incorrect positioning (fig. 5.1); 2) they prevent the quick link from turning
upside-down, thus avoiding the rubbing of the sling over the quick-link section that
can be worn by the contact with the anchor (fig. 5.2); 3) they protect the top part
of the sling from the abrasion with the wall panel; 4) they prevent the screwed
sleeve of the quick link from undoing (fig. 5.3).
5.1 - Installation (Fig. 3). Open the quick link and place it in the anchor, so
that the screw is located at the bottom right. Fully tighten the gate respecting the
tightening torque (Ø 10 mm / 7 N m; Ø 8 mm / 3 N m). Lock Fix Gym onto the
gate side of the quick link near the insertion points (A-B) and then lock it onto the
opposite side (C) making sure that it clicks correctly. Attention! A gate not screwed
to the bottom does not allow the positioning of the support. Attention! After instal-
lation, check that: the support is correctly installed; the support does not hinder the
movement of the quickdraw around the anchor; in case of rotation of the quick-
draw around the anchorage, it returns to the initial position without hindrance.
5.2 - Removal. Press on the support release point (D) and remove it from both sides.
