Readjust the tyre on the rim such that the single mark
coincides with the valve (use tyre changer).
Confi rm by pressing menu key F1.
The OPTIMISATION "OP.8" screen (Fig. 5-44) is displayed.

Clamp the wheel on the balancer.
Rotate the wheel such that the valve is exactly
perpendicular to and above the main shaft.
Enter the valve position by pressing menu key F1.
The OPTIMISATION "OP.9" screen (Fig. 5-45) is displayed.

START is signalled on the screen.
Press the START key.
A measuring run is performed.
The screen OPTIMISATION "OP.10", outside (Fig. 5-46)
or the screen OPTIMISATION "OP.10", inside (Fig. 5-47)
is displayed.

Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be
improved.
Continue as shown on screen BALANCING (Fig. 5-51).

Wheel running conditions cannot be improved. However, it
is possible to readjust the tyre relative to the rim to obtain
a quite considerable minimisation of balance weights (i.e.
smaller weights) without having an adverse effect on wheel
running conditions.
Continue as shown on screen OPTIMISATION "OP.10"
(Fig. 5-46).

Tourner ce repère exactement vers la valve (Orienter
le pneu sur la jante - machine de montage de pneus).
Appuyer sur la touche de menu F1 pour confi rmer.
L'image OPTIMISATION "OP.8" (Fig. 5-44) est alors affi chée.

Serrer la roue.
Tourner la valve exactement perpendiculairement
au–dessus de l'arbre principal.
Entrer la position de la valve à l'aide de la touche F1.
L'image OPTIMISATION "OP.9" (Fig. 5-45) est alors affi chée.

START est alors affi ché sur l'image.
Appuyer sur la touche START.
La lancée de mesure est alors effectuée.
Il sera alors affiché l'image OPTIMISATION "OP.10",
extérieur (Fig. 5-46), ou bien l'image OPTIMISATION
"OP.10", intérieur (Fig. 5-47).
Aff chage H 0
La condition optimale est déjà atteinte et ne peut pas être
améliorée.
Poursuivre selon la description pour l'image
EQUILIBRAGE (Fig. 5-51).
Aff chage H 2
La condition de marche ne peut pas être améliorée. Il est
cependant possible d'ajuster le pneu à la jante pour atteindre
une minimisation considérable des masses d'équilibrage
(donc de plus petites masses), sans avoir un effet négatif
sur la condition de marche.
