Hidden weights placement

adhesive weights.

Applying hidden adhesive weights
The measured values and the positioning arrows for
the two correction positions behind the spokes (Figure
5-29) are given on the right of the Indications Field.
Turn the wheel to move one of the split
imbalances, on the right side (A,Figure 5-31)
into the compensation position (green arrows),
then lock the wheel with the brake pedal.
Clean the application point before attaching the
adhesive weight.
Apply the balance weight (in the example 5
grams, A,Figure 5-31) at the point indicated.
Turn the wheel to reach the remaining split right
side weights compensation position, then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
Having cleaned the area affected, apply behind
the second spoke the weight of the value
indicated (in the example 45 grams, B,Figure
5-31).
Note:
Applying split weights does not involve priorities.
The operator can choose which to apply fi rst.

Avant de fi xer les masses adhésives, nettoyer
l'emplacement de fi xation.

A droite du champ d'indication sont affichées les
valeurs de mesure et les fl èches de positionnement
des deux positions de correction derrière les rayons
(Fig. 5-29).
Tourner la roue pour aller sur la position de
correction (flèches vertes) de l'un des deux
balourds subdivisés du côté droit (A,Figure 5-31)
puis bloquer la roue à l'aide de la pédale.
Avant de fixer les masses adhésives,
nettoyerl'emplacement de fi xation.
Dans cette position, appliquer la masse
d'équilibrage correspondante (dans l'exemple,
masse de 5 g, A, Fig. 5-31) sur la position
indiquée.
Tourner la roue pour aller sur l'autre position de
correction du côté droit puis bloquer la roue à
l'aide de la pédale.
Après avoir nettoyé la zone intéressée, appliquer,
derrière le second rayon, la masse d'équilibrage
correspondante (dans l'exemple, masse de 45
g, B, Fig. 5-31).
Nota Bene:
L'application des masses subdivisées ne prévoit
aucune priorité. L'opérateur peut choisir quelle
masse appliquer d'abord.
