• Undo the buckle (4). Place 5-point safety belts on sides of the child safety seat (fig. B.1).
Put the child in the child safety seat.
• Adjust the headrest to height of the child (see point 4.1).
• Join both buckle fasteners to engage them and insert in the buckle (4) until you can hear a
„click".
4.4 How to fasten 5-point safety belts
• Pull shoulder straps to eliminate free space in the hip section. This way the belt will fit flat.
• Tighten 5-point safety belts with the adjusting strap (10) until the belts are flat on the child's
body and near it. Make sure the shoulder belts properly fit the child's arms. Correct tension
is assured if you can place max. one finger (ca. 1 cm) between the belts and child's body (fig.
A.1.5) in the space between the shoulder belt and child's chest.
NOTE! 5-point safety belts of the hip section must go as low as possible on child's hips. Make
sure the belts are not twisted.
4.5 Rotating mechanism
• Installing the child safety seat in a rear-facing position, for children from 0+/I weight group
(up to 18kg) in ISOFIX fixing system and Top tether upper fixing belt, to assure functionality of
the rotating system and not to block it, please carry the belt of Top tether upper fixing on the
internal side of the car (fig. A.1.6, A.1.7).
• Rotate the child safety seat with a seat rotation lever (12). This is how you can easily put the
child in and take out of the safety seat. IMPORTANT! Remember about order of operations
when putting the child in the safety seat. Rotate the safety seat, place the child in, secure it
with 5-point safety belt, rotate so that the safety seat is in a rear-facing position. Make sure
the rotation function has been correctly secured. To do so, check the color of the indicator by
the seat rotation lever (12) – green color means the seat rotation function has been secured.
Check if Top tether belt is properly tight; correct tension of the belt is demonstrated by the
green color of the indicator (fig. A.1.8).
5. How to mount the child safety seat in the car for particular weight groups.
5.0 How to install in the car
In case of sudden braking or accident, persons who have not fastened their safety belts may
cause other passengers to get injured.
Always check if:
• Seat backrests in the car have been secured (i.e., rear seat folding backrest interlock is
engaged).
• All heavy items and sharp pieces are secured (e.g., on rear shelf).
• All passengers have fastened their seat belts.
• The child safety seat is always secured, even if the child is not transported.
How to secure the car
Seat covers in some cars may be made of sensitive fabrics on which the child safety seat may
leave its tracks. You can avoid them by placing a blanket or towel under the safety seat.
