2.0 How to use
XPEDITION child safety seat is intended for children in 0+, I, II and III weight groups,
that is from birth until they are 36 kg heavy (approximately up to the age of 12).
0+ weight group:
The child safety seat must be fixed in the car in a rear-facing position with the use of ISOFIX
fasteners and Top tether upper fixing belt. It is necessary to get familiar with the vehicle
manufacturer's operating manual. The child in the safety seat is secured with 5-point safety
belts.
I weight group:
The child safety seat can be fixed in the car in a forward- or rear-facing position. In case of
rear- and forward-facing position, it is necessary to fix the safety seat with the use of ISOFIX
fasteners and Top tether upper fixing belt. It is required to get familiar with the vehicle
manufacturer's operating manual. The child in the safety seat is secured with 5-point safety
belts.
II weight group:
III weight group:
With regard to children in II and III weight group (from 15 to 36 kg), 5-point safety belts must
be hidden (see point 6.0) and the child must be secured with the use of 3-point safety belts
for adults with additional ISOFIX fasteners or just 3-point safety belts for adults, see point 5.3,
5.4. It is necessary to get familiar with the vehicle manufacturer's operating manual.
