Insert / replace activated
carbon filter (for air
recirculation)
A carbon filter (odour filter) is filled with ac-
tivated carbon which reduces kitchen fumes
during cooking.
1. Interrupt the power supply
2. Remove both grease filters (17): Push
each grease filter lock backwards and
carefully remove the grease filter by pull-
ing it downwards.
3. As required, turn the locking mechanisms
of the carbon filter (18) to the side and
insert the carbon filter in such a way that
the recess in the carbon filter is facing to-
wards the cable, which leads out from the
interior of the exhaust hood.
4. Turn the locking mechanisms of the car-
bon filter in front of the filter.
5. Insert the grease filter by placing the back
end in the recess below in the exhaust
hood. Slide the lock backwards, hinge the
grease filter upwards to close it, and re-
lease the lock again.
6. Switch the power back on.
7. Dispose of the used charcoal filters with
household waste.
