Operation
Pre-dive check of warning device
1.
Open the cylinder valve and carefully monitor the red light of the Head-Up-
Display HUD. At least one flash should be visible when the system is pres-
surized.
2.
If no flash is visible a full warning device function test should be performed.
Full warning device function test
Close the cylinder valve, monitor the pressure gauge, and slowly depressurize
the breathing circuit using the purge button on the breathing valve.
Between values of approximately 55 bar ± 2 bar / 80 bar ± 3 bar / 100 bar ± 3
(depending on HUD version) the red light should start flashing. The flashing
should stop when the system is further depressurized.
Post-dive procedures
It is important to close the cylinder valve and to empty the breathing circuit of
the apparatus - to avoid draining the HUD battery.
