9 Restore factory settings
The factory settings of the device can be re-
stored. If you do this, you will lose all your set-
tings.
To restore the factory settings of the device, proceed as
follows:
• Open the battery compartment (C) by pushing
the battery compartment cover (C) down (see
fig. 3).
• Remove a battery (see fig. 13).
Press and hold the system button (D) for 4 sec-

onds while inserting the battery again according
to the polarity marks. The LED (D) starts flashing
orange quickly and the display will show "

• Release the system button again.
• Press and hold down the system button again for
4 seconds, until the LED lights up green (see fig.
14).
• Release the system button to finish the proce-
dure.
The device will perform a restart.
