a) Loosen the inner bearing cover.
b) Tighten the outer bearing cover.
c) Loosen the outer bearing cover screws as
shown on following table.
d) Retighten the inner bearing cover.

7. BEARING
7.1 R pumps internal bushes are either lubricated
by the liquid being pumped or are self-
lubricating and require no maintenance.
7.2 Some bearing housing have grease nipples for
lubrication of the external ball bearings. Grease
the bearings every 500 hours operation or every
two months.
8. STORAGE
8.1 If the pump has to be stored for several weeks,
drain the liquid out of the pump casing and
clean. If necessary, flush the pump with a
suitable solvent. Coat the gears with lubricating
or rust preventing oil, grease the bearings and
let the pump run for a few seconds. If the pump
is left out in the open, close the ports and cover
it with a waterproof canvas.

9. WARRANTY

9.1 The manufacturer warrants R pumps, supplied
according to the general sales conditions,
against defects or faulty workmanship for a
period of 12 months from the date of delivery.
9.2 Repair of the pump or replacement of parts or of
the pump itself can only be carried out after
careful examination of the pump in our

workshop where the pump should be sent by
carriage paid. Any exceptions must be
confirmed in writing.
9.3 This warranty does not cover parts subject to

deterioration or normal wear, or damaged by
1,5
misuse or improper handling of the pump by the
1,5
user.
9.4 This warranty is no longer valid if the pump is
disassembled or modified without the
authorization of the manufacturer.
