4 Operation
Description
1 Remove the cover from the pressure
relief valve to be tested .
Ensure that the flange side of the
pressure relief valve and particularly
the installation seal are free of dirt and
contamination .
2 Use M12 screws and washers in the 6
holes on the housing flange to install the
pressure relief valve on the table of the
test bench . An installation seal must be
fitted under the device during installation.
NOTE
Pay attention to the manufacturer's
instructions when mounting the pressure
relief valve .
3 Screw the pressure relief valve to the
support plate of the MPreC test bench
using the six M12 screws and 6 washers .
CAUTION
Ensure that the length of the M12 fixing
screws does not exceed the flange thick-
ness of the pressure relief valve
plus an additional 15 mm (threaded length
of fixing plate).
