Maintenance, repairs, cleaning and care

Maintenance or repairs should be only carried out by qualified service personnel.
Clean with standard cleaning detergents. Make sure use only cleaning agents suitable for specific
material (wood, plastic, metal etc.).

Disposal

The disposal of old devices is regulated by the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act „ElektroG" of
October 20, 2015. Accordingly, owners of old electrical devices have to collect them separately from
unsorted municipal waste.
Separate old batteries and old accumulators from the old device before handing them at collection point.
The collection points for old devices are the collection points at the waste and recycling centers of the
public waste disposal authorities or the return points of the distributors.
Public waste disposal authorities are the municipalities and rural districts. The disposal of old devices at
the collection points of the municipalities and districts is free of charge. These inform private households,
usually via information brochures such as a waste calendar or via the Internet, about the locations and
opening times of the collection points as well as other options for collecting old equipment.
Old electrical appliances can be handed in to distributors who are obliged to take them back (electrical
appliance dealers and sales outlets with a sales area for electrical appliances of more than 400 m²).
1. Take back old electrical devices with dimensions less than 25 cm free of charge, even if no new device
is purchased.
2. Return old electrical appliances larger than 25 cm length, when purchases a new device with the same
functions as the old device.
Warning: Risk of electric shock! Always disconnect the power cord before cleaning.
Clean with a dry or slightly moist cloth. Never allow liquids contact with electrical
components (e.g. cable, control module, lifting columns) otherwise, there is a risk of
electric shock!
Note: Disposal of desk components should always be carried out in accordance with
local environmental regulations.
