VDC-295AIOD / VDC-535AIOD
General:
VDC-295AIOD resp. VDC-535AIOD are speed dome cameras (VDC-295ID resp.
VDC-535ID) in a weather-proof housing (IP-66). These dome cameras come either with a
regular wall bracket (VDC-295AIOD-WM or VDC-535AIOD-WM) or with a wall bracket incl.
power supply and installation box (VDC-295AIOD-WBJB or VDC-535AIOD-WBJB).
For camera control and setting parameters, please use the corresponding camera user
manual for VDC-295ID / VDC-535ID (Version 1.1sfi/1111/engl/A5). However, there are some
special applying to VDC-295AIOD reps. VDC-535AIOD (hence cameras in a weather-proof
housing) which are described below.
The chapter numbering below refers to the one used in the above mentioned user manual
version.
2.3 Setting the dome camera termination
DIP switch setting:
The device which is connected
at end of line (RS-485),
whether it is a dome camera or
a keyboard, must be connected
by a terminated cable. The
termination of the cable is
achieved by the appropriate
DIP switch setting. Without
proper termination, control
signal errors may occur. The
total length of the
communication cable must not
exceed 1.2 km.
