WARNING! Never use any mechanical items, knives or other sharp-
edged objects to remove the encrusted ice. Never use a steam cleaner.

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

WARNING! Do not use hairdryers, electrical heaters or other technical
devices to accelerate the defrosting-progress. RISK OF ELECTRICAL
SHOCK!
1. The cooling compartment is equipped with an automatic defrost-system.
2. The water is drained at the back inside the appliance
3. The water is collected in a container underneath the compressor. The water
evaporates in this container.
4. The drain must not be blocked.
5. Clean the drain carefully with a pipe cleaner.
➢ The freezer should be defrosted regularly to ensure proper operation.
1. Remove the contents from the freezer and put them into a cooling box.
2. Switch off the appliance by turning the thermostat to position 0 / AUS / OFF
and disconnect it from the mains or use a cut-off device.
3. When the encrusted ice melts put some dry cloths into the freezer-compartment
to hold the water back.
4. Do not use hot water to accelerate the defrosting operation.
5. Remove the big pieces of ice first.
6. Afterwards remove the small pieces of ice.
7. Wipe and dry the appliance and door seals with dry and soft cloths.
8. After cleaning: leave the door open for some time to ventilate the appliance.
NOTICE! If the appliance has been disconnected from the mains for a
longer period of time, allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 3 until
4 hours on medium thermostat setting [s. chapter 4.3 T
