8.1 Defrosting
WARNING! Never use any mechanical items, knives or other sharp-
edged objects to remove the encrusted ice. Never use a steam cleaner.

❖ The fresh zone is equipped with a manual defrost-system.
❖ Defrost ice deposits if they are thicker than 3 mm.
1. To defrost the fridge (fresh zone), just turn of the Thermostat (1); s. fig. below.
2. As soon as the defrosting process is finished, please turn the Thermostat on again.
3. The melted Ice turns into water and will be drained into a dip tray through a drain
pipe at the back of the fridge.
