TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
No coffee comes out of
the sieve.
Liquid runs out of the top
of the attached sieve
holder.
Milk is not frothy after
frothing or does not come
out of the milk foam tube.
The coffee runs through the
sieve too quickly.
Possible cause
No water in the water
tank.
The coffee has been
ground too finely.
Too much coffee in the
sieve.
The machine has not been
switched on or connected.
The coffee powder has
been stamped/pressed
too much.
The sieve holder has not
been locked properly.
Residue on the seal.
Too much coffee in the
sieve.
No more steam.
The milk is not cold
enough.
The milk foam tube is
blocked.
The coffee has been
ground too coarsely.
Not enough coffee in the
sieve.
Approach
Add water to the water
tank.
Grind the coffee coarsely.
Fill the sieve with less
coffee.
Insert the plug into the
socket and switch the
machine on.
Refill the machine with
coffee and do not pound it
too hard.
Turn the sieve holder until it
is in the locked position.
Remove the residue.
Fill the sieve with less
coffee.
Fill the water tank with
water.
Use cold milk.
Clean the milk foam tube.
Grind the coffee finer.
Pour more coffee into the
sieve and gently tamp it.
