*1) The actual nominal flow may deviate slightly from the throughput shown in the table (e.g. in the case of larger permeate transport heights) due to fluc-
tuations in the inlet water quality, flow pressure, water temperature and permeate back pressure.
*2) In general, the manufacturer recommends the use of feed water pre-treatment.
*3) The factory setting for the WCF of the RO is approx. 50%.

3 Use and function

3.1

Proper use

The BWT bestaqua 14ROC Coffee is a combination of reverse osmosis and a filter cartridge for
mineralising the blended permeate with magnesium. The device
is used to treat water that meets the statutory requirements for drinking water quality.

contains an atmospheric pressure tank for needs-based buffering of the mineralised water.

protects coffee and espresso machines against damaging limescale and gypsum deposits.

improves the flavour of beverages by removing odorants and flavourings such as chlorine.

mineralises the water by adding magnesium.

filters particles out of the water.

protects against bacteria and other organic substances.

Any other use is considered improper.
