Intended use

This product has a hard metal tip for hiking
in open country, on ice, or on other smooth
surfaces.
The product can be used on various surfaces.
The product is intended exclusively as a trekking
pole for hiking through difficult terrain or along
roads, for private use only.

Safety information

Life-threatening hazard!
• Never leave children unattended with the
packaging materials. There is a risk of suffo-
cation.
Risk of injury!
• Do not perform repairs that endanger your
safety!
• The use of a heart rate monitor is recommend-
ed.
• If cardiovascular problems are known to the
user, a doctor should be consulted before
performing the sport.
• Use sports shoes with a good profile and
lateral support.
• Avoid exercising in the dark, and wear reflec-
tors on your body in low lighting conditions.
• Check the product for damage or wear
before each use. Only use the product if it is in
perfect condition!
• As soon as you notice any cracks in the pole
segments, or establish that the product is not
functioning perfectly, stop using it and dispose
of it.
• Where possible, avoid public roads, to
reduce the risk of accidents.
• The product is not suitable for alpine skiing.
• Do not use oil, as any kind of oil can nega-
tively impact the integrity of the adjustment
mechanism.
• Be aware that the tips of the product can
damage floors.
• Do not sit on the product, as this can kink it.
• The tips of the product are dangerous to
children!
• The product is intended for private use only.
The product is not guaranteed for professional
use.
• Check the adjustment mechanism regularly
even while using the product. Be sure to adjust
the tension of the lock so that the parts of the
pole cannot slip.
• Do not use the product as a walking aid.
Opening out and folding up
the pole (Fig. A–C)
1. Opening out the pole.
2. Hold the pole vertically.
3. Pull out the pole segment labelled "Pull" until
the locking button pops out and the stick
segments are locked.
