Operation without battery support
a) Screw the drain hose onto the hose connection.
b) Connect the power supply unit to the 12V power plug on the
Leak Pump and plug the power supply unit into a socket. The
"status"-LED on the Leak Pump must light up green.
c) Make sure that the battery switch is switched off (battery char-
ge status indicator does not light up).
d) Check whether the function of the Leak Pump is working by
shortly pressing the Pump-button on the Leak Pump – the pump
must start.
e) The Leak Pump is now ready for operation.
The Leak Pump is now always ready for use if there is 220V vol-
tage at the mains plug of the power supply. The pump only works
when there is a certain water level in the container and switches
off after the water level has dropped.
Charging the battery
a) To charge the battery, connect the power supply unit to the
TOOLS-Leak Pump at the appropriate socket and plug the power
supply unit into a socket.
b) Switch on the battery switch (battery charge status indicator
lights up).
c) During the charging process, the charge control-LED on the
power supply unit lights up red. As soon as the battery is charged,
the charge control-LED on the power supply unit lights up green.
d) During the charging process, the Leak Pump is ready for opera-
tion and must be in an upright position. The pump should not run,
otherwise the charging process will be unnecessarily extended.
e) If the charge control LED on the power supply unit lights up
green, all battery charge status indicators should
also light up green. The charging process will end automatically.
You can now stake everything out again.
UPS-operation of the battery
In this operating mode, the Leak Pump runs in mains operation.
If this fails, the pump automatically continues to run on battery
power.
a) Screw the drain hose onto the hose connection.
b) Connect the power supply unit to the 12V power plug on the
Leak Pump and plug the power supply unit into a socket. The
status LED on the Leak Pump must light up green.
c) Turn on the battery switch. The "status"-LED on the SOS-Leak
Pump must light up green. The battery charge status indicators
are lit, and it may indicate that the battery is being charged.
d) Check whether the function of the Leak Pump functioning pro-
perly by shortly pressing the Pump-button on the Leak Pump – the
pump must start.
e) The Leak Pump is now ready for operation.
