The Leak Pump is now always ready for use if there is 220V voltage at the mains plug of the power
supply. If the 220V mains voltage fails, the Leak Pump continues to run on battery power. The same ope-
rational readiness information then applies to mains free battery operation. If the mains failure is over,
the pump runs again via 220V mains voltage. As long as the pump is not running, the battery is recharged
if necessary.
Mains-free operation of the battery
a) Screw the drain hose onto the hose connection.
b) Turn on the battery switch. The „Status" LED lights up green and
the battery charge status indicator lights up.
c) Check whether the Leak Pump is working properly by shortly
pressing the Pump-button on the leak pump - the pump must start
up.
d) The Leak Pump is now ready for operation.
The duration of the operational readiness of the Leak Pump in
pure battery operation depends on the "size of the leak". During
continuous operation (pump is always switched on), the pump runs
for about 1 hour with a fully charged battery and delivers about
5-6l/min (tested at lifting heights up to 2 m).
With a smaller leak, the operational readiness is extended accor-
dingly.
