the aff ected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention
immediately.
■ Danger of suction! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose clothing, fi ngers and all other
body parts away from the nozzle of the device. They could be sucked in by the vac-
uum. If the vacuum cleaner does suck something in, turn off the device immediately.
■ Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected cord for the power adapter is not a
tripping hazard.
WARNING – Danger from Rechargeable Batteries!
■ The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, exposed to high temperatures
of over +40°C, immersed in liquids or short-circuited. The battery could ignite or ex-
plode.
■ Ensure that the motor unit and the battery cannot get wet. Do not use the device if
liquid has got inside it. The battery could ignite or explode.
■ Do not cover the device and the power adapter during charging in order to prevent it
from catching fi re. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device
and make sure that these do not become clogged.
■ Remove a dead battery from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before a
new battery is inserted.
NOTICE – risk of material and property damage
■ Ensure that the cord for the power adapter is not crushed, kinked or laid over sharp
edges, and that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ Do not wind the cord around the device or power adapter.
■ The device should only be used if it has been completely and correctly assembled!
The collecting container and the dust fi lter must be inserted and must not be
damaged! If dirt were to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
■ Unplug the power adapter from the socket if a malfunction occurs during charging or
before a storm.
■ The device must be switched off when the mains adapter is pulled out or inserted into
the plug socket.When pulling out of the socket, always pull on the power adapter and
never on the cord!
■ Do not use the device when it is connected to the power adapter.
■ Never pull or carry the device by the cord.
■ Protect the device from heat, open fl ames, extreme temperatures, prolonged humid-
ity, moisture and impacts.
■ Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the function-
ing of the device and to prevent possible damage.
