5.3.4 Mounting and connecting room controllers
Preparing mounting
If you want to install several products, create an installation plan with the individual
installation sites. Label the individual products according to the installation plan
with a number or the designation of the installation site in order to reduce the pos-
sibility of confusion.
In the case of room controller wireless
 Prior to mounting, verify that the solar-operated energy storage module has
been charged.
- Regular daylight is sufficient for charging the energy storage module.
- Exposure to direct sunlight reduces the charging time.
- In dark environments of the installation site: If the daylight is less than
200 Lux, install a lithium battery 3V type 1632 in the battery compartment:
1. Remove the rotary knob and the upper part of the housing (see fig. 5-11)
2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Verify correct polarity.

1. Route the cables of the thermostatic
actuators through the strain reliefs (A)
and connect the wires to the corre-
sponding terminals (observe colour
coding).
2. Push the stripped wires into the termi-
nals all the way to the stop.
3. In the case of flexible wires or for dis-
connecting wires, push the catch (B).
