INSTALLATION - ASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORIES
• Unwind the high pressure hose (35) and screw the end (without the quickfit coupling) onto the spray
gun (24) . Operation E in Fig. 5.
• Connect the quickfit coupling (36) to the water outlet fitting (16), screw down and tighten the ring nut
by hand. Operation F in Fig. 5.
• Insert the gasket (26) in the water inlet fitting (17) and screw the water inlet hose-end fitting (25) on
to it. Operation C in Fig. 5
• Follow the instructions given in the "Routine maintenance" and "Special Maintenance" paragraphs.
• Take the high pressure cleaner to the place of work using the handle (2).
• Engage the parking brake (20).
• Using the clamp (63) supplied, fix a supply hose with an inside diameter of 19 mm/0,75 (1001-1251-
1501) 30 mm (XTREME) in to the water inlet hose-end fitting (25). Operation H in Fig. 5.
• Completely unwind the high pressure hose (35).
• Open the water supply tap (if connected to the drinking water mains it is mandatory to use a back-flow
preventer: to use this device refer to the relevant instruction manual), making sure there are no drips.
Alternatively, put a suction hose in a tank.
• Make sure the master switch (1) is on "0" position and insert the plug. Operation L in Fig. 5.

• Move the master switch (1) to "1" position (1001-1251-1501 without Total Stop); move the
master switch (1) to "1" position and press the button (21), KEEPING IT PRESSED UNTIL
WATER STARTS COMING THROUGH THE SPRAY GUN (1001-1251-1501 with Total Stop).
NOTE: the Total Stop device of the 1001-1251-1501 models can control the micro-leaks (using a flow
switch and pressure accumulator); for this reason each time the delivery circuit is not under pressure
(i.e. when the machine is started the first time) or it has no water (i.e. when the high pressure cleaner
hasn't pumped up from the tank), the machine can only be started by putting the master switch (1)
on "1" position and pressing push button (21), keeping it pressed until water starts coming through
the spray gun.
• Press the spray gun lever (22) and wait for a continuous jet of water to come through which means
the pump is priming correctly.
• Press the spray gun lever (22) to discharge any residual pressure.
• Connect the lance tube (33) to the spray gun (55), inserting it into the quick coupling until it clicks into
place. (1001-1251-1501) Operation A in Fig. 5. Connect the tube of the lance (29) to the spray gun
(24), tightening fully (1501 15/350) Operation B in Fig. 5.
NOTE: to disconnect the lance tube (33) from the hydro-gun (55), press the ring nut (59) in the direction
of the hydro-gun until the quick coupling clicks, then remove the lance tube.
XTREME
• Move the master switch (1) to "1" position: mains voltage is indicated when LED (43) turns on. If the
emergency push button (40) has been pressed, reset it by pulling it upwards.
• Press the START push button (21) to start the machine.
• Press the spray gun lever (22) and wait for a continuous jet of water to come through which means
the pump is priming correctly.
• Press the STOP push button (42) to stop the machine, move the master switch (1) to "0" position and
close the water supply tap.
• Press the spray gun lever (22) to discharge any residual pressure.
• Connect the lance hose (29) to the spray gun (24), tightening right down. Operation B in Fig. 5.
