Never operate the universal cut‑
ter without the blade
try to cut packaged or frozen
food, ice cubes, food with bones
or nuts with shells. This could
damage the universal cutter.
Always unplug the mains plug
from the socket after use or when
the universal cutter is unattended!
Place the universal cutter on a
firm, level surface and do not
place any objects on the univer‑
sal cutter. The universal cutter is
not designed for use in very hot,
humid (i.e. bathrooms), or dusty
rooms. Operating temperature
and operating humidity: 5 °C to
35 °C, max. 85 % rel. humidity.
‑ no direct sources of heat (e.g.
heaters) are affecting the uni‑
versal cutter;
‑ no direct sunlight or strong arti‑
ficial light is hitting the universal
cutter;

Ensure that:
‑ contact with spraying or drip‑
ping water and aggressive liq‑
uids is avoided and the universal
cutter is not operated near wa‑
ter, the universal cutter must most
importantly not be submerged
in liquid. Do not place objects
filled with liquids, e.g. vases or
beverages on or next to the
universal cutter;
‑ no open fire sources (e.g. burn‑
ing candles) are on or next to
the universal cutter;
‑ no foreign objects have entered
the appliance;
‑ the universal cutter is not ex‑
posed to extreme temperature
fluctuations, as otherwise con‑
densation can build up and lead
to electrical short‑circuiting. If
the universal cutter is exposed
to extreme temperature fluctua‑
tions, wait (approx. 2 hours)
before starting it up, until it has
reached room temperature;
‑ the universal cutter is not exposed
to excessive shock or vibration.
The appliance is only suitable
for cutting firm foods such as
bread, sausages or sliceable
cheese. Cutting other substances
(e.g. wood) or very hard foods
(bones, hard cheese, deep‑fro‑
zen food) is not permissible.
