Folding
Hercules XL can be folded for easy, space-saving transport.
Unfolding
Release the red eccentric levers on both sides of the seat to fold the seat open. (fig. 7)
Then secure the seat in the desired position. Fold the pelvic pads over the side guides.

Folding up
First loosen the two pelvic pads on the inside of the side guides and fold them out-
wards. This prevents the pads from being squeezed. Then release the red eccentric
levers on both sides of the seat to fold the seat together. Then secure the seat in the
folded position.
Belt guide, top
Adjusting the height
Always adjust the upper red belt guide to the height of the vehicle's 3-point safety
belt. Loosen the two screws on the back plate (fig. 9) and move the bracket and coun-
ter plate to the correct height. Then retighten the screws.
Change of sides
Depending on the position of the Hercules XL seat in the vehicle, the upper red belt
guide may be required on the other side of the seat.
First unscrew the red belt guide from the top of the bracket. (fig. 10) Then unscrew
the 2 screws on the back plate. (fig. 9) Now you can remove the back plate and the
bracket and screw them on the other side. To do this, the bracket must be turned.
Finally screw the red belt guide to the top of the bracket.
Back angle adjustment
Use the red eccentric levers on both sides of the Hercules XL seat to adjust the back
of the seat to the backrest of the car seat. (fig. 7) Make sure that the positioning seat is
in full contact with the vehicle seat.
