Adjusting the height

Always adjust the upper red belt guide to the height of the vehicle's 3-point safety
belt. Loosen the two screws on the back plate (fig. 7) and move the bracket and
counter plate to the correct height. Then retighten the screws.
Change of sides
Depending on the position of the Hercules XL seat in the vehicle, the upper red belt
guide may be required on the other side of the seat.
First unscrew the red belt guide from the top of the bracket. (fig. 8) Then unscrew the
2 screws on the back plate. (fig. 7) Now you can remove the back plate and the bra-
cket and screw them on the other side. To do this, the bracket must be turned. Finally
screw the red belt guide to the top of the bracket.

Back angle adjustment

Use the red eccentric levers on both sides of the Hercules XL seat to adjust the back
of the seat to the backrest of the car seat. (fig. 1) Make sure that the positioning seat is
in full contact with the vehicle seat.

Seat depth adjustment

Place the seat outside the vehicle on the back plate to gain access to the seat from
below. Loosen the seat depth adjustment screws under the seat with an Allen key.
(fig. 7) Lock the nuts above the seat plate with an open-ended spanner. (fig. 10) Slide
the upper seat plate to the desired depth. Then retighten all the screws.
