6.2 Establishing the electrical connection

Risk of injury and device damage due to improper connection
Improper connection to the earth rail of the system/building installation.
• Implement suitable measures as defined in the standards.
NOTICE
• These operating instructions describe multiple variations.
• Observe the provided circuit diagrams and optional wiring.
One robot output 24 V DC and one robot input 24 V DC are required for controlling the valves.
A tactile (mechanically operated) valve is used for spraying.
NOTICE
• The gas nozzle diameter must match that of the prism.
• The distance sleeve must match the nominal diameter of the gas nozzle.
• The reamer must be precisely aligned with the torch type.

Device layout and terminal assignment
1 Loosen the lateral mounting screws to remove the covering hood. You can then access the PCB.
2 Guide the connecting cable through the PG 9 screws to terminal X601 on the PCB.
3 Apply an operating voltage of 24 V DC to X601.1 and X601.2.
4 Apply the control signal input for "START" to X601.3 or X601.4, depending on the electrical design of the robot output.
5 Apply the control signal output for "READY" to X601.5 or X601.6, depending on the electrical design of the robot output.
