Binary Pilot signals will latch the selected weld schedule independent of any other
input signal.
Binary pilot is read 20 milliseconds after initiation. After an additional 5
milliseconds, Binary Pilots are read again and compared with first initiation value.
If value is the same, weld schedule will be latched.
If the comparison of Binary Pilot values is not the same, then weld control will
fault with the message "Pilot Invalid".
If the Binary Pilot inputs are on at power on of the weld control, the weld control
faults with Fault message "Pilot Closed".
A Binary Pilot no less than 256 is taken as a weld program number.
Only in Robot mode (serial input 3.00 = off): If Binary Pilot inputs are not off at the
end of Weld Time (WC Signal) the weld control faults with Fault message "Pilot
Closed".
Receipt of new Binary Pilot will reset any weld process fault; hardware faults will
not be reset. Process
Faults are defined as faults which can be programmed as Faults or Alerts.
Hardware Faults are associated with potential hardware failures and are not
programmable as Alerts.

This Input is checked at receipt of binary pilot serial inputs 1.14 – 2.05. If the Input
is "0", a Fault is created the fault message "No Water Flow Fault – Tip Water (1)"
will be displayed. Timer Fault serial Output 1.03 will be turned on. The fault is
reset when the input for tip water goes high. Fault is not reset by binary Pilots
serial input 1.14 – 2.05.
This input is only active when Ethernet IP is selected (See E_25 IO mode).
When RS485 is selected, this input is maintained as a logical 1.
This input is not used if machine mode (serial input 3.00) = on.
