Instructions for use – Hercules XL

General information

Please note:
• Hercules XL is a positioning seat for disabled children / juveniles / adults who
need the greatest possible support in the vehicle. It can be used in most commer-
cially available vehicles.
• The seat is for users with a body weight of 37 kg to 80 kg / 81.6 - 176,4 lb.
• The Hercules XL positioning seat for vehicles is a medical device in risk class 1.
• If, contrary to expectations, a serious incident involving the product should occur,
please report this immediately to our company and the relevant authority.
• Thomashilfen reserves the right to make changes to the product. This can lead to
a temporary difference between marketing documents and the delivered product.
• This seat is not suitable for use at home, in boats or other non-certified applica-
tions.
• Hercules XL is supplied in its basic version, and any accessories ordered must be
fitted subsequently.
• Only modify the construction of the seat in accordance with the instructions for
use.
• All screws of the Hercules XL must be heated before removal, as they are secured
with a threadlocker. When reassembling, the screws must be re-secured with a
threadlocker.
• The positioning seat can be used on one of the rear seats as well as the passenger
seat. The respective vehicle seat MUST be forward-facing.
• Follow all instructions in this manual.
• Ensure that all users are fully aware of the correct use of this positioning seat and
are able to implement it.
• Please observe the safety standards applicable to your vehicle in the user manual
to ensure the safety of the user.
• The instructions for use should always be carried along on the back of the posi-
tioning seat.
