Instructions for use – Hercules XL
User training
The user will be instructed in the use of this aid by authorised specialist personnel
with reference to these operating instructions. Together with the user, the specialist
adviser should install the positioning seat in the car and adjust it to the dimensions
of the current user for optimum adjustment. It must also be ensured that the user
has been instructed in all functions as well as the installation and removal from the
vehicle.
Should there be any questions about the application or adjustment at a later date, the
technical advisor or Thomashilfen is available directly.
Purpose
The Hercules XL is designed for the transport of disabled children / juveniles / adults
in motor vehicles with, among others, the following clinical pictures:
• Infantile cerebral palsy
• Hypotony syndrome of unclear etiology
• Muscular dystrophy
• A wide range of syndrome diseases
The positioning seat is particularly characterised by its support system and its individ-
uality in the use of various accessories. It provides the best possible support for large,
heavy and elderly users and thus ensures a stable seat.
