6 Information on CO2 pollution
As CO2 sensors generally tend to deviate further and fur-
ther from the real measured values over a longer period
of time, the sensor installed in this device is equipped
with an integrated calibration mechanism. In order to
compensate for the CO2 deviations over longer periods
of time and to be able to measure precisely even after
longer use, the CO2 sensor performs an automatic ad-
justment in the background.
In order for this mechanism to work, you should venti-
late sufficiently at least every 8 days to prevent incorrect
measurements.
The interval at which this calibration takes place is
set to every 8 days by default. The function can
be individually adjusted or deactivated via the
Homematic IP app or the WebUI.
CO2 pollution can become noticeable already
from 1000 ppm through tiredness, lack of con-
centration and headaches.
