Function and device overview

Devices with electronic power supply units (e.g.
TV or high voltage LED light sources) are no
ohmic loads. They can generate inrush currents
with more than 100 A. Switching such kind of
loads may lead to premature wear of the actua-
tor. In such cases, we recommend to use switch-
on current limiters at the switching outputs.
The device is only intended for use within resi-
dential, business and commercial areas as well as
in small enterprises.
Using the device for any purpose other than that
described in this operating manual does not fall
within the scope of intended use and shall invali-
date any warranty or liability.
3 Function and device overview
The Homematic IP CO2 Sensor reliably and accurately
measures the CO2 concentration, temperature and
humidity in your smart home. This enables automatic
monitoring of the indoor air quality. With the free
Homematic IP smartphone app, you can always keep an
eye on the measured values.
The device can be easily mounted in a flush-mounted
box. In addition to the phase, a neutral conductor is also
required for the connection.
