5 INSTALLATION

5.1 Mechanical installation

The attachment of the X-ray tube housing assembly is described in the installation instruc-
tions of the system.
5.1.1

Alignment ring

See The example in the figure beside
figure 3 shows the SRO-family.
The four screws of the alignment ring
are sealed to guarantee the correct fit.
The collimator is automatically aligned
in the correct position.
If a compatible collimator is used
Caution! The alignment ring must not be removed.
•
Mount the coupling flange on the alignment ring respective the correct position of the
fit, slot and key.
•
The collimator can be mounted without further alignment.
