Call Number Display CLIP

The CLIP function enables you to view the number of a caller when a call is received. If this function is available with
your telephone line, the number of the caller appears in the display when the phone rings. If the caller has
suppressed transmission of their phone number or the phone number cannot be displayed for technical reasons, the
message WITHHELD appears in the display.
If the caller's number is stored in the phone book, the name appears in the display instead of the phone number. In
addition, any phone number stored in the phone book can be assigned one of the three ringing melodies so that you
know from the melody who is calling.
Incoming calls are stored in a caller list. This enables you to see who has called in your absence. A total of 30 calls
can be stored in the list. As soon as the list is full, the oldest phone number is deleted from the list. If new phone
numbers have been stored in the caller list in your absence, the

Caller list

Proceed as follows to view the phone numbers in the caller list in the display:

- If the phone number is longer than 12 digits, the remaining digits are displayed.
- Displays the phone number when the caller's name is stored in the phone book.
- Displays the date and time if this data was transferred from the caller.
- If no further data is available, ADD? appears in the display.
