Switch 4: Auto LF with CR
Specifies whether auto LF with CR is enabled (OFF) or disabled (ON). When auto
LF with CR is enabled (OFF), the printer automatically performs a line feed
whenever it receives a carriage return from the computer. When it is disabled (ON),
the computer must send both a line feed code and a carriage return code at the end of
each line. Most applications do this automatically. Note the following check points
when trying to figure out which setting to use here:
If you find that your output is double-spaced when it should not be, turn this
switch ON (Disabled).
If you find that lines are printing over each other, turn this switch OFF
(Enabled).
Switch 5: Zero Style
Specifies whether a normal zero (ON) or a slashed zero (OFF) will be used.
Selecting Normal (ON) prints zeros without lines running through them, while
Slashed (OFF) prints zeros with a diagonal slash running through them.
Switch 6: Reserved

Switch 1: Print Mode
Selects Draft (ON) or NLQ (OFF) as the print mode. NLQ (OFF) provides near
letter quality output, while Draft (ON) provides draft quality. Draft quality printing
may be less attractive than near letter quality, but the printing operation is faster.
Switch 2: Printable Area
Selects Type-A (OFF) or Type-B (ON) as the printable area. Type-A (OFF) causes
the print area to start 1/6-inch from the top of the paper and end 1/4-inch from the
bottom of the paper. Type-B (ON) causes the print area to start one inch from the top
of the paper and end 1/4-inch from the bottom of the paper.
Switches 3, 4, 5: Print Pitch
Turn these switches on or off to form the pattern that matches the print pitch setting
you want to make.

Commutateur 4: Saut de ligne automatique avec retour de chariot
Il sert à activer (OFF) ou désactiver (ON) la fonction de saut de ligne automatique
avec retour de chariot. Quand la fonction est activée (OFF), l'imprimante saute
automatiquement une ligne quand elle reçoit un code retour chariot de l'ordinateur.
Quand la fonction est désactivée (ON), l'ordinateur doit envoyer un code saut de
ligne et un code retour chariot à la fin de chaque ligne. La plupart des programmes
d'application envoient ces codes automatiquement. Vérifiez les points suivants pour
savoir quel réglage choisir:
Si vous obtenez un double interligne à la place d'un simple interligne, désactivez
la fonction (ON).
Si les lignes sont superposées, activez la fonction (OFF).
Commutateur 5: Format du zéro
Il sert à sélectionner le zéro normal (ON) ou le zéro barré (OFF). Si le zéro normal
(ON) est sélectionné, les zéros sont imprimés sans barres tranversales et si le zéro
barré (OFF) est sélectionné, les zéros imprimés sont traversés d'une barre.

Commutateur 1: Mode d'impression
Il permet de sélectionner le mode d'impression brouillon (ON) ou Quasi-courrier
(OFF). Le mode d'impression Quasi-courrier (OFF) offre une qualité proche de
courrier et le mode brouillon (ON) une qualité moins bonne. La qualité d'impression
est moins bonne en mode brouillon qu'en mode Quasi-courrier cependant
l'impression est plus rapide.
Commutateur 2: Zone d'impression
Il sert à sélectionner la zone d'impression type A (OFF) ou type B (ON). La zone
d'impression de type A (OFF) commence à 1/6 ème de pouce du haut de la feuille et
se termine à 1/4 ème de pouce du bas de la feuille. La zone d'impression de type B
(ON) commence à 1 pouce du haut de la feuille et se termine à 1/4 ème de pouce du
bas de la feuille.
Commutateurs 3,4 et 5: Pas d'impression
Activez ou désactivez ces commutateurs pour régler le pas d'impression souhaité.
